Hello wanderers of the internet! Yesterday I had a late and fun day, so I went to sleep before I could post this. Anyway, yesterday's 30 Day Challenge theme was to "Write about your day in great detail" so let's start this journal post.

The first half of my Saturday went about how most Saturdays go for me. I woke up, ate some breakfast, and then went to my desk. I cycled between a routine of surfing the internet, drawing, writing, and watching YouTube videos. I did this for about 4 hours.

Then I found out my mom had gone across the street to my grandma's house so I walked over there with the intent of playing the piano she has. I like playing the piano at her house because she has a real piano, while I currently have an electronic keyboard, although we are getting a real one in the house in 2 weeks. A real keyboard has more weight to the keys and a sustain pedal that you can actually control, and frankly it just sounds way better than an electronic keyboard. Anyway, the song I am currently learning is Truce by Twenty One Pilots, and I am self-taught so I learn the song two measures at a time. I ended up learning the second half of the song and was able to play it completely through. I can now move on to another song, so after my piano session I went home and looked on the internet for one. I am thinking maybe doing a song from the Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie In April) soundtrack because it has very beautiful piano tracks. I've decided which one I am going to do, I just have to find a source to print it out at, perhaps the library.

After that I went back to my cycled routine until I got a message from one of my friends named Hayden asking me to come over to our other friends house, so I asked my mom and then left to go there. We hung out at that house for about two hours, and there was 6 of us there in total. I watched my friend who the internet knows as InsaneNiac play Overwatch, as well as watched everyone play Super Smash Bros. I generally had a good time just watching those guys play video games and putting in my input about which characters were the best and talking about how great The Last of Us is.

Soon after those two hours were up, we divided into two cars and headed for town. The first thing we did was head to Dollar General to meet up with our final group member (who I was actually meeting for the first time). He seemed like a cool guy. We bought some snacks and then headed to Pizza Hut for dinner. We all sat in a booth with chairs pulled up to it so we could all sit at one table and played the game offered at the table called "The Game of Things". Basically you'd get a card like "Name 3 things that make your back hurt" or something like that and we'd have to answer. Being as everyone in the group besides me was a teenage boy, we got some pretty humorous and sometimes inappropriate answers to the questions. I just felt bad for the family sitting next to us who had a kid who appeared to be about seven. Anyway, we ordered two pizzas, a medium supreme and a large pepperoni and bacon stuffed crust pizza. It was gone within five minutes. We discussed some memes and fun internet trends until we got the bill, and then we left to go right across the street to where the real fun was: The Drive-In Theatre.

The movie we decided to see was the Suicide Squad-Star Trek double feature. We found a spot not too close to the screen but not too far away either, and then we talked until the movie started. Once the movie started Hayden and InsaneNiac (I keep calling him InsaneNiac because he doesn't want anyone on the internet knowing his real name) switched spots so Hayden was in the driver seat with another one of our friends in passenger and InsaneNiac and I in the backseat. During intermission the guys played with a Nerf football and a few of them told some funny stories. I wanted to go to the bathroom at that time but the women's restroom line is always so long, so I waited. Then the movie started again and we went back to our cars and finished the movie. Heathens played during the end credits which made me freak out.

Overall, Suicide Squad was a great movie in my opinion. The only complaint I have is that they cut out all of the parts where The Joker abuses Harley, which makes it appear as though their relationship was healthy. Also, in the comics, Harley doesn't fall into the acid in the acid pit scene, Mr.J pushes her (I'm a comic fanatic, sorry not sorry). It was cool though because during the parts where the other peeps in the car didn't understand, InsaneNiac just turned to me because I am the comic fanatic I am to explain. It made me feel good about myself.

Finally after the movie was over we drove back to home town and I was dropped off first. I thanked InsaneNiac for inviting me and thanked them all for letting me come along, and then I went in the house where I Skyped my friend Arron until I fell asleep.

That's about it for yesterday in detail. I had more fun than I've had in a long time, and I'm so happy that those guys welcomed me into their group the way they did considering I was the only biological female, despite what I identify as. I almost wish I had more days as fun as yesterday, but I guess that would take the special feeling out of the memory, now wouldn't it?
